Welcome to Yoke ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Yoke mobile application (the "App") and any associated services (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Yoke is operated under Percy Lane Labs from the United Kingdom. These Terms represent a legally binding agreement between you and Yoke.
To use Yoke, you must register for an account using a valid email address or via third-party authentication (e.g., Google). You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Yoke allows users to create, upload, post, send, receive, and store content, including but not limited to photos, text notes, goals, and encouragements (collectively, "User Content").
We maintain a strictly enforced zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to upload, share, or transmit any User Content that:
To ensure a safe environment, Yoke provides in-app features to block abusive users and flag/report objectionable content. Our moderation team will review all reports within 24 hours. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any User Content and to suspend or permanently ban accounts of users who violate these Terms.
Yoke offers a free tier as well as a Premium subscription that unlocks additional features. Premium subscriptions are available on an auto-renewing basis.
You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase. Deleting the Yoke app or your Yoke account does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel directly through your respective app store.
Yoke utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to provide context-aware nudges, encouragements, and calculate your "Yoke Score." The Yoke Score is an automated metric reflecting your accountability and engagement. By using the App, you acknowledge that AI-generated nudges are automated and provided for motivational purposes only. You remain solely responsible for the actions you take toward your goals.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UK law, Yoke and its directors, employees, partners, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; and (iii) any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and Yoke agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App.
